    Judged by its title, this book could be from any monotheistic religion, as well as any of the types and branches of Christianity. And from all those origins have come thousands of books, over the ages, all trying to make this process clear. For the newcomer it can be a challenge just to figure out where to start.

    This little book fits into a specific niche in this total subject. It is Christian, Protestant, Mainstream/Classical, and deeply rooted in the Bible. It is gently written, approachable, easy to read. If you strongly agree or disagree with its message, you can read it once and be done, probably with some affirmation of the thoughts you started with.

    If you are curious, looking for ideas, seeking an approach to meeting God, this book will give you some things to think about from a clear and distinct point of view, and lots of references to explore further.

    Unlike many books in this field, Let’s Meet God defines a clear, direct approach to its topic, and its simplicity alone makes it a useful contribution to a field of inquiry made vast, complex, and complicated by the unlimited variety of its contributors. Maybe the answer isn’t so difficult, after all.

    Each chapter can be read in under 5 minutes and includes discussion questions.

    I agree with the author’s view on the nature of sin as well as the realities of Heaven and Hell. However, I do disagree in-part with his interpretation of the conversation between Jesus and the woman at the well.

    This is a well good book for answering questions held by some who for one reason or other, can't find the answers for themselves in the bible. The author's answers are biblical and straight forward. This book should be read by all who want the simple truths of Christendom.

    This book is an excellent resource for a beautifully simple explanation of the Gospel. Hearn walks through the basic questions involved with coming to faith in Jesus and provides a straightforward answer for each. Each chapter is concise yet fully complete in its explanation and wholly grounded on Biblical truth. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to understand what it means to be a Christian and what salvation really is all about. It would be an excellent tool for folks who may be intimidated by "church jargon" yet it stays true to the Word of God.
